Opportunities

Not only do we have building and store opportunities, but much work is done off-site by committees and individuals. There is no shortage of small and large tasks that contribute to our ability to provide affordable housing. Everyone, regardless of skill level or age, can help us build homes and communities.

Call us at the Habitat office and let us know how you would like to help!

Safety Rules

All volunteers must know and practice these rules on the construction site.

Safety Training

We urge construction volunteers to take our insurance company’s programs. Log on with code Lockton

Why I Volunteer with Bennington County Habitat…

It is a two-fold opportunity that benefits myself plus
someone needing a home who would not ordinarily be able to have one.
For me it’s enrichment and actually lends to my happiness
as I age! Thank you, Habitat!

Why I Volunteer with Bennington County Habitat…

I work, build and support Bennington County Habitat
mainly because I think it is so important for the children of our mostly young families
to have a permanent safe place to call home.

Why I Volunteer with Bennington County Habitat…

I volunteer with BCHfH because for me, it’s an honor to be part of making

Why I Volunteer with Bennington County Habitat…

Bennington County, like much of Vermont, is in desperate need of affordable housing.
Fortunately, the BCHfH affiliate, using mostly volunteers, builds
some of the most energy efficient and affordable housing units in all of Vermont…..
helping to fill that gap.
