Our third annual model home building contest is nearing the deadline for entries.

Thanks to our volunteers working 3 days per week (if not more) progress continues to be made at an impressive speed. The roof is almost completed, and work on the interior has officially begun. With doors, windows, and drywall being hung inside, and shingles on the roof outside, it is beginning to look more like a home than it does a construction site. |
With our goal of building three new homes this calendar year, we cannot work on only one house at a time. Thanks to the wonderful leadership of our construction manager Don, and our incredibly dedicated volunteers, we have two very active build sites. While 50 Jennifer Lane may look more like a construction site than a house, it no longer resembles an empty lot! We are very pleased with the speed of this build, especially considering that 49 Peggy's Way is also going so well!

As of March 1st, we have opened our Homebuyer Program to new applicants. Instead of accepting applications throughout the entire year, we have decided to open them for a six week application period. Applications are available now and must be submitted by April 15, 2023. Visit our website here to request an application today!
If you know anyone who might be interested in our Homebuyer Program, please share with them this link. With our application and process being updated this year, becoming a Habitat Homeowner is now more accessible than it might have been in years past. Additionally we are still accepting applications for our Home Repair Program. More information can be found at the link above, as well as a form to request an application. There is no singular deadline for these applications, we simply request you submit them within two weeks of receiving. |
