Habitat ReStore Manager: Play a key role in raising the funds that build affordable housing in Bennington County.
We travel the county to pickup furniture donations and more! We then sell those donations to fund our construction projects.
Most commonly people donate furniture, which they are unable to deliver. This is where our amazing volunteer team comes in. Using our box truck, they drive around the county once per week to collect donations. Generally speaking they leave the ReStore at 9:30 am, and return in the early afternoon.
By donating your furniture to a ReStore, you are an advocate for affordable housing. All proceeds from our ReStore go directly towards funding our local construction projects, leading to a brighter future here in Southern Vermont. We believe everyone should have a decent place to call home, and if you have found this page, you must agree.
Please fill out the form below to request a donation pickup. Once we receive your request, we will schedule you as soon as we can. Since our store is on the smaller size compared to other ReStores in the country, we are not always able to accept every item. This is case by case. If you are unsure if we would accept your donation, we encourage you to still fill out the form, and we will get back to you within three business days.
