Volunteers are the lifeblood of our work. No matter what your profession or interest, there’s a way for you to help us provide safe, sustainable, affordable housing to our neighbors.

New Construction

A diverse group of volunteers on a Habitat build site

We are always in need of people to help us raise and finish good homes. From day labor to specialized trades, we’ll put your skills to use.

Volunteer shifts are 8:30-2:30 Thursday-Saturday.

Join us by collecting merchandise from donors or in the store preparing inventory to be sold at huge discounts to fund our construction projects.

Volunteer shifts are 11-2, and 1-4 Wednesday-Friday, and 10-1 and 1-4 on Saturday.

Home
Repair

Your handy skills can help us make minor, critical repairs and install ramps for income eligible homeowners-many of them elders-countywide.

These projects happen on a rolling basis, we work 8:30-2:30 when there is a home repair project.

Volunteer Teams

Group volunteer days are always popular, but there is a limit of how many work days on an affordable home can support so many people volunteering at once. If you are interested in a group of 10, please email [email protected]

In an effort to allow more new people to comfortably join us on the construction sites, we are excited to introduce Volunteer Team Days. Join us with up to 3 other friends or colleagues, almost any day on any site. Click the link below for more information.

Committees

We are always looking for passionate members of the community to join us on a committee. We have committees regarding finances, homeowner selection, volunteers, our ReSale Store, construction, faith relations, and research and development. If you have any interest in this please email our office at [email protected]

Join Our Volunteer Team

Please take a few minutes to watch these videos about the sign-up and scheduling processes, and worksite safety. Then, fill out our brief form and schedule your first day. If you run into any issues, email our Volunteer Coordinator for help at [email protected]
