Repair in Pownal
We just finished one of the largest Home Repair Projects we have done to date! Our volunteers made it all possible for this family….
We bring people together to build affordable housing, and affordable homeownership opportunities here in southwestern Vermont.
Join our team of dedicated volunteers! We have opportunities for you on our construction sites, at the ReStore, and more.
Donate to, shop at, or volunteer with us at our ReStore in Manchester. We sell donated goods to fund our construction programs, increasing the number of affordable housing, and homeownership opportunities locally.
We could not function, and do the work we love doing, if it were not for generous individuals like yourself.
Since our founding in 1997, we’ve helped hundreds of people and families gain safe, decent, affordable housing.
We’ve built affordable housing opportunities all across Bennington County, and expanded neighborhoods.
Volunteers make our work possible, from building homes, to staffing the ReSale Store, to admin and policy support.
We have an ambitious goal to complete 10 home repair projects this year. Can we help someone you know?

When three different groups volunteer in one week, a lot of work is going to get done!
Recently we gathered to honor and celebrate all of our volunteers. This event was a huge success, with lots of positivity, reflections, and fun had by all!

“I work, build and support Bennington County Habitat
mainly because I think it is so important for the children of our mostly young families
to have a permanent safe place to call home.”
